In “Five Questions” here at I-CONnect, we invite a public law scholar to answer five questions about her research and writing.
This edition of “Five Questions” features a short video interview with Julie Suk, Professor of Sociology and Political Science, as well Dean for Master’s Programs, at the City University of New York, and author of the forthcoming book We the Women: The Unstoppable Mothers of the Equal Rights Amendment.
Asked to identify her favorite paper among the ones she has published thus far, she selected Procedural Path Dependence: Discrimination and the Civil-Criminal Divide, published in the Washington University Law Review.
To nominate someone for a future edition of “Five Questions,” please email contact.iconnect@gmail.com. We welcome all nominations. We are especially eager to receive nominations of early-career scholars and women.

It is quite inspiring to learn from Prof. Julie Suk who gets up early in the morning at 4 o’clock to peacefully write her books and articles. Equal rights amendment is an interesting area of study.
I’m the first Vice President of the Lambda Chapter of DKGNJ. We are viewing your interview/discussion about We the Women on October 15, 2020. I’ve been looking for 5 good book discussion questions to no avail. Might you be able to help.
